About Blue Sky

Blue Sky Healing Home is a medical foster home for orphans in China, providing pre- and post-surgery care in a comforting and healing environment.

We have helped more than 145 children since our first resident child in 2004, and have cared for children with rare congenital conditions like omphalocele, bladder exstrophy, imperforate anus, and more common conditions like heart abnormalities, spina bifida & neurological conditions, orthopedic and cleft lip/palate.

We work with the best hospitals in Beijing, and have sent children to Singapore and the US for expert surgical care for their conditions.

We can accommodate a maximum of 20 children at a time, and have 20 full time local staff, managed by Dr Maria He, a Beijing retired medical doctor.
With a few dedicated volunteers in areas of fundraising, management, nursing and therapy, Blue Sky has upheld a high standard of care and fulfilling environment for the children in residence.
